Aloha! We’re Shaka, a family-owned and operated business proudly rooted right here in Upstate New York.

Our story started back in 2017 with a simple, fun mission: we wanted to bring the authentic flavor, hospitality, and community feel of a Hawaiian beach to our local neighborhoods. We did that by launching our signature mobile Hawaiian Shave Ice catering, spreading island vibes one tropical treat at a time.

Leveling Up: The Launch of Shaka Fliteschool

As a family, our love for the water runs deep. We kept looking for ways to bring even more world-class excitement and premium outdoor activities to the Finger Lakes.

In 2024, we took a massive leap forward by establishing Shaka Fliteschool and partnering with the industry leaders to become an official Authorized Fliteboard Dealer.

Today, our main focus is helping both locals and travelers experience the weightless, whisper-quiet rush of surfing above the water on state-of-the-art electric hydrofoils.
